スウェーデンを拠点に活動するタフは、年齢を問わずに日々使えるコレクションをデザインしました。子どもにとっての大皿が、大人にはサイドプレートになるような、サイズと用途の関係に着目したデザインは、一つの使い方にこだわらずに、使い手が想像力を働かせることで、様々な機能に対応します。アイスが溶けたモチーフや、スタンプなど遊び心の溢れたアイデアから生まれたシリーズです。
Swedish-based design team TAF have come up with a collection for the everyday which can be enjoyed by anyone irrespective of age. When a child’s large dinner plate can double up as an adult’s side dish, versatility in design is clearly being prioritised over rigid conformity to designated purposes of use. In essence, this collection will inspire the user’s imagination to create their own subtle and rewarding interaction with the pieces. Offering motifs such as melting ice and stamps, this new series arrives brimming with playful ideas and inspiration.
